Water scarcity is among the main problems to be faced by many societies and the World in the XXIst century. Water use has been growing at more than twice the rate of population increase in the last century, and, although there is no global water scarcity as such, an increasing number of regions are chronically short of water.

Did you know that most beauty products contain about 80-95% water? (Tina Hedges, founder of Loli) These are severely diluted products that tend to be less efficacious, essentially acting as a cheap filler for your cosmetics. Whereas Aloe Vera contains insane amounts of active ingredients and vitamins that are antibacterial and antimicrobial, greatly reduces bacterial growth, and naturally has a longer shelf life without preservatives than water based materials.
It is not only our goal to reduce global water scarcity by avoiding the use of water in our formulations, but also for the added benefit of product quality for your skin. An added bonus in terms of sustainability, waterless products are more compact (since you don’t use fillers) and lightweight, therefore, reducing shipping weight and require the use of less plastic packaging.
